I was sent a video clip conducted by a property manager (who wishes to remain anonymous) after the police raided a rental property and seized a marijuana crop grown hydroponically.
Let’s take a look at this photo submitted by Elaine Smith- Property Manager with Lin Andrews Real Estate, from Salisbury in Adelaide, South Australia.
Carli Stojanovic from Paramount Real Estate- NSW forwarded this photo of not just termite damage, but the actual termites crawling out of a wall hole inside a rental property!
This photo represents one of the most unusual photos we have in our photo library (and yes, on the ‘surface’ the photo looks pretty boring!)
We all have seen rental properties trashed after an eviction has taken place.
However, rarely do we experience a property trashed whilst it is vacant.
This photo is very strange, and so is the story that goes with it!
I was spending time in a rental department in Orlando, Florida USA, where a staff member (who has been a real fan of our ‘what a photo’ series we have been running), emailed me the following pics!
Staying productive throughout your workday isn’t something that most property managers can do. Some are really good at being busy – but not at being productive.
We can all fall victim to procrastination. It’s simply the deliberate delaying of something that we don’t want to do. Sometimes it is fear of someone’s negative reaction or perhaps fear of failing at a task and sometimes it is simply that we just do not enjoy that task one little bit! No matter what the reason, we still have to do it!
I believe in using audio instead of reading because all we do is simply listen to audio teaching in the car between appointments- it’s a good duplication of time, and time we can afford to give!
